Mark East is a nationally recognized and award-winning photographer specializing in landscape, nature and portrait photography. He was born and raised in Lynchburg, Va in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Peaks of Otter. His love of country, nature and people inspired him to take his hobby of taking pictures growing-up to earning a degree in photography.
Mark has been distinguished in a number of photographic endeavors and been honored to photograph for some of the nation's most well-known universities and service academies. He is a commissioned photographer for the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Va. He has photographed many well-known celebrities and many government leaders including the President of the United States. In addition, Mark photographs for a number of charitable and corporate organizations and special events along the east coast.
Mark is a Marine Corps veteran who served in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Mark attended CVCC, Liberty University and NC State University. He resides in Lynchburg, Va and when not working or taking photographs, can often be found spending time with his two Labrador Retrievers. He is available for portrait, landscape, special event and wedding photography in Lynchburg and the Mid-Atlantic states.
