I first started to paint in the late nineties. At that time I was able to experiment with all kinds of textured mediums, one being wax, preferably paraffin wax, since it sticks to the canvas well. Working in this medium has helped me let the process find itself. I only have a certain amount of control with melted wax and it dictates where the flow of the painting will go.
