My name is Mary Clanahan. I began seeing the world through artist's eyes at a very young age. I've tried drawing, painting, and sculpting but have found the most pleasure from digital art. I create digital art using several different types of computer software. Making artwork gives me great joy and I am proud of my effort.
If I had to describe my art, I would say my landscapes are full of color, light and movement. My surrealism pieces are a study of the human condition that have depth and hidden details which prove worth the search it takes to find. My graphic art is exact and expresses my interest in the relationship of color, light and shape. My portraits are personal and give insight about heart and soul. My inspirational art makes my heart skip a beat and gives me a sense of real fulfillment. If I can truly brighten one's day or give hope to one who is lost or promote that which could make all the difference in the world, I will have succeeded.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy the work. I feel that my art gets better the more I create, the older I grow. I can't wait to see what I have yet to create.
'As practice makes perfect, I cannot but make progress; each drawing one makes, each study one paints, is a step forward.' Vincent van Gogh
