Melanie Renazco is a homeschooling mom, attorney, teacher and animal activist in Texas. She enjoys chalk pastels as a preferred medium as it allows her to utilize the sense of touch in all of her pastel work. All pastel drawings are created without the use of a brush or any other artistic tool, but only the chalk pastel and the tips of her fingers to allow for an authentic and life giving approach to art and its connection to the world around us. A portion of the proceeds she receives from her art are donated to local animal charities.more
