My first photographs were taken with Kodak Brownies and then a Miranda 35mm. I graduated to a Canon and used my darkrooms with B&W film. Some of these are in my galleries.
The advent of digital changed my approach to photography drastically. Now I have the ability to optimize and manipulate the images to suit my changing vision of what I see in my mind. Ansel Adams called it visualization. I see what I want sometimes at the moment of capture and sometimes when I develop the images on the computer.
