Residing in Honolulu, Hawaii for over 30 years, Michiko’s artwork draws upon the intrinsic, bountiful tropical scenery and rich cultural diversity of her home. Born in Okinawa, she developed her attention to natural aesthetics from an early age while also refining an edge for elegance through crafting jewelry, sewing dresses, and serving as a hair stylist and makeup artist for thousands of weddings in Hawaii for over 10 years.
