All of my art starts with a photograph. I'm not a purist in any sense of the word (as you can see from my profile picture). That frees me up to be a little more creative with some my photos . Some stand on their own but in many cases I digitally manipulate and massage an image until the result is somewhere between a photograph and a painting. There are some whimsical pieces in the mix as well as a lot of coastal scenes, birds, old buildings, travel scenes and whatever else I think someone may like.
