I grew up on City Island in the north East Bronx, and started taking pictures of boats and the seascape. We moved to Wallkill NY in the Hudson Valley in 1985 and lived there for 25 years so I photographed the Hudson River, mountains and farms of the Hudson Valley. I presently live in Brunswick Georgia. We needed to return to the water, and now I photograph the beach, boats, and seascape again.

I have always loved photography; I started with a Kodak brownie when I was 11. I bought my first 35mm camera 42 years ago when I was 16 and have been taking photographs ever since. I learned to work in a wet darkroom and possess black and white photographs and loved watching my photograph come to life. I was reluctant to switch to digital, but in 2004 I switched and have never looked back. I learned photography by reading books by Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, and with the help and friendship of Ron Terner, owner of the Focal Point Gallery. This web site contains 42 years of my work, film and digital. I sincerely hope you enjoy its content. All originals works are limited to 20 or fewer copies and are printed on Epson Ultra Premium paper with Epson archival inks, and archival mats, framed, and signed by me.
