Mila Bourne was born in Russia , in Zelenograd, a city near Moscow. She was influenced by the deep history of art of the country and inspired by works of such great artists as Shishkin and Aivazovsky. She felt a desire to picture the beauty of the country in paintings of her own. She started taking lessons in the local Art School and soon she discovered that her work found interest in the art world of the community.
