Milton Rogers was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He comes from a family of talented artists. Most notably is his sister and famous doll-maker, Marcella Welch, who passed away in 2012. At an early age he was influenced by his grandmother, Bessie Dudley. She wrote poetry books and her husband was a very talented artist. He now resides in Valdosta, Georgia.
