Biography
Milva Pierotti was born in Tuscany, in the 16th century town of Fivizzano, where she is living and working in her studio. She obtained her diploma at the Art Lyceum in Carrara and later attended the Faculty of Architecture at Florence University. From a very early age she devoted all her time to painting through continuous experimentation of new techniques, new colours and materials, integrated contributions of textile woofs and object trouvés.
