I am an artist in every sense of the word. I live art, I breathe art, I celebrate art. I strive to touch people's inner chords with art. Exposing an explosion, a subtle emotion, a peaceful moment.
My life's journey has not been an easy one, but it was a journey I had to live in order to get where I am today. I want to use my experiences to reach out to other artists and those of limited resources to expose them to a brighter world, a better space in time, or just to help them open a door...
A documentary about my life's journey was produced, filmed and edited by Mary Anne Funk, an independent documentary filmmaker, producer and director in Portland, Oregon. It was a nine part series titled, Moodshade: In Plain Sight and was part An Artful Journey of Life. My art comes from the experiences I have faced and it has always been a part of who I am, I just didn't realize the awesome power it had in my life. I want to use part of the money that comes from my art to help others in my community and to maybe make some kind of difference in this world.
