I grew up in India, passed intermediate in Art from JJ School of Art Bombay at about 14 years in age. I had a watercolour painting published in Shanker's weekly. I passed my medicine degree in 1959. I continued to paint. I exhibited in medical college. I started practicing in England and continued to paint and draw. I attended courses in Art in adult education centres in Eltham and Bromley, including Life class.
