Nature, to me, is not distant or mysterious, but a manifestation of God alive and
on display, proclaiming a message of hope. This message includes not only the
ability to experience hope in a broken world, but also the struggle to lean into
that hope. The early paintings display light filtering in through darkness, conveying
hope as present, striving, and seeking even in the deepest gloom. My water paintings explore light dancing on the waters surface as well as
