Pat graduated from Mt.Mary University, Milwaukee, WI, with a degree in Art and Elementary Education. After 28 years of teaching, she retired and began taking workshops in watercolor painting. Her paintings of historic buildings built by Frank Stout in the 1920's on Red Cedar Lake near Birchwood, WI are favorites of local residents and vacationers. Her donated originals and prints have helped raise funds for the local food pantry, the school district, the Pink Ribbon of Barron County, and other organizations over the years.
