My art reflects my lifelong interest in plant life, in particular tropical plants. I have had no artistic training and seek only to capture some of the infinite elegance and drama of color and form which abound in nature. I do not attempt any artistic style but try to reproduce what I see as precisely as possible. Elements which fascinate me for their unexpected charm become the focal point around which I build a picture.
