Reflections and Refractions Abstracts
Virtual photographs of virtual glass objects taken in my virtual photo studio. All of the objects in this series are 3D models of glass forms. Each of these objects were given a clear (no color) refractive texture. Unlike your real glass object you can change the refractive index to whatever you want. All the colors in the image are either reflections or refractions on or through the virtual glass objects of the virtual surroundings. Basically a 360° backdrop. Usually the backdrops are simple colors or gradients but also could be a photograph. These images were created using the same steps as would be used in a real photo studio. The virtual studio has nearly all of the equipment as in a real studio, except no tripod, light stands, cords, ladders, etc. There is no gravity so all your lights, cameras and objects stay solidly whereever you put them. Oh, and you can create your own ojbects to photograph, or buy inexpensive 3d models on the internet.
