Women Of Biblical History

Historical biblical writings reveal amazing women who forged history: Mary, the mother of Jesus; Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist; Eve, the mother of all living; Esther, the woman who saved her people; Sarah, the wife of Abraham, and Hagar, her handmaid; Rahab, Deborah and Jael, and many more. They were wives, mothers, concubines, queens, warriors, slaves, good, bad, and even worse. They struggled, protected, and fought for their lives, families, country, and faith. Artist Peter Olsen, known for his Old and New Testament narrative art collection of oil and mixed media art and works in wood, has added this new project of illustrating the women of biblical history to his portfolio. His art is in private collections around the world and used as study tools for professors, theologians, pastors and students around the world.
