After decades of photographic adventures, including National Geographic featuring my photo of El Salto, I took up oil painting in the wake of a traumatic train derailment in 2016 where I suffered a brain injury. It took three years to overcome vision and PTSD challenges… and then I discovered a deeper expression of creative feeling in this new medium.
