Jeff Perkins, a Physician and avid photographer for over 45 years. I have had exhibits at the Soho Gallery in NYC, the Albany Center Gallery in Albany, NY, the Photographic Center of Troy, NY. Albany International Airport has my post 9/11- 18 foot panorama , 'Arrival' on display since early 2002.
I have won a number of International Competitions and in 2008 I won the Medium Format Photographer of the year in Popular Photography magazine.
Like most long term photographers, I have evolved and changed as to what I want to 'focus' on. Over the last several years I have been fortunate enough to get a pass for the Backstretch at Saratoga Raceway where I developed my love for capturing images of these magnificent animals tearing down the track at 35-45 mph. Gradually I changed my editing of the straight camera images to a form of High Dynamic Range editing which creates these ultra-sharp vivid photographs.
