Remy Francis @ rembrandz.com started out in the Fine Artists Arena rather organically, training under a couple of then popular local and international artists in the 1990s only to keep her passions in check. Traditional painting, portraiture, sketching was her 20 year occupation developed by her self-made and collaborative efforts to build a creative community in which she too could identify with. While doing this she facilitated not only herself but other artists and aspiring animators by bringing a few travelling art shows and events to where she first started her animation career in Bombay and Madras. Which today may have stemmed into the most sought after outsource nation for animation. Fine Arts along with her animation is something which has only added value to her her media-related career life as well as for her collaborators working with her. As now she is in a stage where she takes pride in helping in integrating it into lifestyles through educating communities and professionals using art and animation. These are the days she has finally found solace in finding her everyday absolution in art as her common denominator.
Her fine arts specialties include live classic portraiture and equine art with oils, watercolour medium, charcoals, pastels. Basically a realist she has an newly evolved abstraction in her landscapes, cityscapes and wildlife series which can be noticed in many of her recent works. All said and done her Bernini, Bellini, Rembrandt, Monet inspired styles are there to stay with her as he natural passions. With her signature style noticed in all of her pieces.
Welcome to her art space which sells only limited edition prints of her paintings. For any enquiries on her originals, she will be pleased to get back to you either to speak about a commission or techniques used in it.
Most of her pieces have a story behind it ... that which is connected to the artist like a journal because of the fact that it has been created because of special experiences in her lifetime. Be it landscapes, portraits, etc. Her live performances are also born out of her seeking a quest to improve a certain lifestyle in her and the society she coexists in at that point of time.
Remy Francis joined Fine Art America on July 21st, 2010.
