Most of the year I am a software engineer in the Bay Area specializing in automating processes. One of my other passions is photography. I enjoy the technical aspects of photography and experimenting with technique and composition.
Every year we travel up to Shasta, CA and hang a right off of Interstate 5 at the McCloud exit. We then head almost 2 hours further into the mountains. Our destination is a fairly secluded lake called Medicine Lake. This area is my favorite place to photograph.
My favorite subjects are my kids, but second to that is landscape photography along with macro photography.
I prefer to minimally post-process my photos, emphasizing the natural beauty the camera captured. If a photo is heavily post processed or HDR, it will be described as such.
