My life began on a small farm in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. It is where my love of old barns and rural scenes began. When I wasn't riding the range with the Lone Ranger, Cisco and Pancho, I was roping my favorite cow, Tom, while astride my faithful horse, which also doubled as a fence gate. In the early 1950's my family moved to southern Florida and settled down in Deerfield Beach. At that time Deerfield was more Everglades than homes.
