Bob Hope in DaNang

This photo gallery displays some photographs I took of Bob Hope's 1968 USO Christmas Tour show in DaNang. As I was assigned to the public information unit of the DaNang Support Command, I was able to get close to the stage for these pictures. The show drew some 10,000 troops to an amphitheater at the base of Freedom Hill. Our staff photographer was also covering the event, and I believe his photos were sent out with the press releases. My photos were never published. Maybe some of you will find them of interest. It's all ancient history now. Quoting Pete Seeger, "Wasn't that a Time."
