I've been an artist all my life, drawing abstracts when I was a kid, taking drum lessons and playing in several bands, acting, hosting a TV interview show...but my focus as an aging baby boomer, is on my visual art. I create most of my work in digital format. I start with simple sketches or some of my nature photos and fold, bend, stretch them like digital taffy, until something pops up on the screen that grabs me. I learned to play the drums from jazz drummers, and my first band was a jazz improv band. My art is like visual improv...visual jazz...play with what you get. I tend to create some compositions that look better the bigger they're printed. I also still paint in large acrylics and make mosaics. I have hundreds of compositions and am open to commissions.
