In 2013, Eddie and Shari Floyd came up with a vision of turning Wynema Ranch into a Wild Horse Sanctuary. They started a 501(c) 3 Non-Profit organization that attracted a group of like-minded people.
Within the course of a few months they brought together a group of individuals who shared mutual dreams to save members of one of American's most precious historical icons, the wild mustangs.
Given this premise, our team is striving to ensure that our wild horses have the best possible life at our sanctuary.
Through a process know as 'gentling' members of our team, bring about a bonding of horse and man. This could not occur without the combined effort from all of us that share our goals.
