My invitation is only one – that of sitting in silence in front of these images without asking or excluding anything. Works such as Leaf Sky and Fire and Snow are so essential and so subtly/shrewdly evident in their message as to suggest not so much as a hope – subject on which it would be possible to argue as unceasingly as in vain –but as a matter of fact. The skyline indeed attests a precise reality upon which we all have to think carefully - as the truth is that nothing is along the horizon. Exactly for this the Man has to think about future, and has to frame it on his own without uselessly hoping in someone’s else help. This means that we all have to face with our own precise responsibilities. Artist Silvia Casilli At Parallax Art Fair - LONDON

The Italian Artist selected by Dr Chris Barlow for the Third Edition of P(AF) Parallax Art Fair which will be opened on February 16th at 10:00 AM at Chelsea Old Town Hall, King's Road LONDON (UK). On show three works from the New Series realised in 2011 at Saksala ArtRadius Centre, Haukivuory - Finland. Lyrical Abstract Photography realised without any digital manipulation which a part of a project which will be carried on by the artist subsequently. Object of the project is a catalogue of the colours of Nature in Finland. The works reveal the oniric vision of the artist while working in July and feeling part of the essence of the wintry landscape. The artist has been carrying on for years a personal research on the possibility of using the digital camera to obtain abstract compositions that have much to do with informal painting. These are actually considered by the artist as paintings created using the objects around her as the source of colour and the camera as her brush.
