I've always loved to draw. My mother knew she could keep me quiet in church by giving me a pad and pencil during the sermons! Recognizing that I had talent, my parents enrolled me in a private art school when I was about 9. I did a plaster sculpture of my version of 'The Thinker', which the school asked to keep for display. Though not drawn to sculpture, I excelled in art programs through the rest of my public education, further developing an eye for form, perspective, and detail.
