I began my art career as a sculptor and painter. My early influences were nineteenth century painters such as Turner and Constable, whose paintings of light and landscape techniques led to a desire to further explore light and contrast in a different medium. This led me to black and white film photography. Digital photography further enabled me to explore the dimensions of light and color.
