Stephen Zigich has been paintings for more than 25 years and is basically self taught. He began his interest in producing works of art after attending adult education classes in drawing and painting. He has taken many workshops sponsored by the Lee County Alliance of the Arts in Fort Myers, Florida and especially appreciated the life studies he received from artist George Vukovich, a student of artist Daniel Greene, who taught how to 'see' and 'measure' to get a likeness or desired effect.
