My enjoyment of the outdoors and an appreciation for God's creation was nurtured while growing up in a family of hunters and fishermen. In sharing stories and hearing others attempting to describe an experience, something always was lost in the translation and therefore the phrase 'a picture is worth a thousand words' challenged me to let my camera do my talking.
