I am Steve Power, I have been a hobby photographer most of my life. I had a darkroom when I was young and was taught the relationship between shutter speed, f-stop, and depth of field. My uncle Ed, my dad's brother, was a great photographer in his time and took me under his wing. He taught me to show up early and then wait for the light, to look into the corners of the image to see what is being captured within the frame, and to pay attention to the negative space, the background, and how it helps the resulting image.
