I am a primarily self-taught artist living in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Seymour, Tennessee. I paint for fun and relaxation; mostly landscapes. I try to get viewers to feel a certain mood or emotion rather than rendering a specific scene with photographic detail. For me the most enjoyable thing about creating art is playing with light, color, and mood. Thanks for taking a look at my work!
