Sumali ‘Buki’ Piyatissa is a young, up coming artist from Colombo, Sri Lanka. Her artistic talents were evident from a very young age and though it was just a hobby for her at that time, through the years it became something she wanted to pursue further. This desire led her to explore traditional and contemporary oil painting techniques which is now the medium that is used in most of the paintings. She has taken part in many joint exhibitions and her first solo exhibition was held in February 2015. more
