Sunel de Lange was born in the Republic of South Africa in a town called Pretoria. She is the only daughter in a family of 5 children. Being a very creative person, Sunel was encouraged by her sister in law to start painting. It didn't take her long to realise that she loved depicting the human form. Sunel decided to go for painting classes to enhance her knowledge of painting mediums and techniques.
