Artist Statement
The spirit of the place or scene is what I wish to reproduce. Colors are often altered and painted completely different from what I observe. Larger than life flower series try to capture the spirit of the garden in which the flowers are growing I feel that capturing the fleeting light and its effects, the shadows are what create a mood in a painting.
