I am a life-long resident of the greater Elgin, IL area, and studied art at University of Tulsa and Northern Illinois University, where I earned a BA in Art History and a minor in Studio Art. My current focus is on oil painting, but also revel in the joy of creating in several artistic genres. Painting in oils and pastels and drawing in colored pencil are my primary choices.
