Suzanne paints illustrations of imaginary stories that have yet to be written, returning often to themes of trees, foxes, hearts and mysterious landscapes.
She abandoning the field of psychology and a career as a therapist to become a tattoo artist in 1995, and has been co-owner since 1997 with partner Andi Lineweaver, of Primeval Ink Tattoo located in Olympia, and with a location also in Monroe, Washington.
Her work does not usually reflect the styles currently popular in tattoo-related art, but follows similar themes, such as tree of life, hearts and cave art and horses… She also enjoys fractal art, digital augmentation of photography, and otherwise ‘painterly’ photographic images which are often blurry and strange.
Suzanne lives on a farm with her partner and 2 cats, 2 dogs, 3 pygmy goats, 40+ chickens, ducks and geese, and two elderly mares.
