My first attraction to the visual arts, other than enjoying beautiful kinds of art began when I had the opportunity of feeling clay in my hands and molding a huge pot out of slabs of clay, texturing it with vinegar and seeing the wonderful colour combinations and forms arising from the little crystals subjected to the heat of the kiln.
