I remember the day I excitedly ripped open the box containing my first 35 mm camera. t was in Vietnam in 1967. As I poured over the instruction manual, I simultaneously fantasized over the not yet taken photos that would appear in LIFE, LOOK and NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC magazines.
