Lapiz Azul Abstract Painting

Great Yarmouth, No - August 3rd, 2017

My heart and soul onto canvas for you. Art from my heART ♥ Through my original abstract organic artworks I try to encapture the light, harmonious energies, colours and rhythms of nature. My paintings evolve through the process of using textures, paints and Palette knife. Lapiz Azul' by V.Kelly Acrylic on canvas - size 16" x 16" There are many layers of best quality artists Acrylic paint so it will appear to change when viewed in different light. The main colours are a moody mix of blues and the brown earth colours with some palette knife work and texture. In this art piece I wanted to portray the ever changing river under the vast Norfolk skies that are so beautifully lit and reflected in the flowing river below. So the main colours are shimmering blues with some palette knife work and texture. An atmospheric, abstract landscape full of neutral, earthy tones, subtle b...

Traditional Art With Digital Tools - Tradigital fine art in the 21st century 17 Sep 2010 Meet Valerie Anne Kelly (aka Valzart). This is where the rubber of digital art meets the road. The image you see here titled Russet Lane was created using Corel Painter 11 and Photoshop CS4. Valerie tells us this particular work was inspired by Keats poem To Autumn ( seasons of mists and mellow fruitfulness). She calls her method tradigital. I am so pleased to feature Valeries work this week @ http://www.redbubble.com/ Knowing that she creates work like this digitally just astounds.

Love all your work!...but I really love your image Friendship :)) It makes me think of a gigantic book shelf, and much like life, we all have our own individual storys, and experiences. When it is all said, and done, and just as the books are all knit toghether on the shelf. So one day all the many stories become "one" very beautiful image that manifests itself. I like the two trees, its like the garden of Eden, and the books are the story of all time :) It inspires me! Thank you! Carolyn Wright.
