Born in Lima, Peru, Victor comes from a family that puts a very high importance on the arts. From an early age, Victor’s parents encouraged and motivated him to learn as much as possible in the disciplines of drawing, painting and ARTES GRAFO-MANUALES. From Victor’s early school days, he separated himself from his fellow classmates as a talented artist of sketches and outlines that were first done with carbon pencil and eventually graduating to ink.
By the time Victor reached secondary school, it was clear that he had a style all his own. Because of this unique sense of creativity and visualization, his art professor encouraged him to continue his studies on a higher level – Victor was the most talented artist he had seen in all his years teaching.
In 1981, Victor entered Lima’s renowned School of Arts where he began seven years of studying/refining of his artistic techniques and themes. During that period, Victor participated in various art exhibitions, both collectively as well as individual exhibits. In his early academic years, Victor worked in many of Lima’s churches restoring murals and canvas paintings of religious saints and biblical passages.
