Thanks Dean and Robert, I am glad I took my doctor's advice and had the MRI. Now they can now proceed and do the biopsy and remove the growth. They have ruled out any type of kidney or gall bladder stones. I appreciate the well wishes....Micha

Thank you Rose and Kryan, I appreciate the well wishes, I have had acute gall bladder symptoms for many years, and my doctors explained my body did not produce any gall stones but had the physicaIl symptoms and it always remained inflamed. I have had my share of physical aliments over the years. In 1998 I was informed I had a pineal glad brain tumor after I had a head injury. After the MRI and months of test and was ready to go through chemo and shaved my head the doctors reached the conclusion I could have had it all my life and from what was revealed to them it had calcified to leave that alone. So since that moment on in my life I have lived knowing I could not alter anything from my past but was going to alter my future and have done exactly that.

So now the doctors have discovered the growth on my kidney and will know exactly what it going on...


Thanks for the well wishes Brian, I appreciate that and have kept a positive outlook on everything. Its all about the inner spirit in each and everyone of us....we are in control of our own body's and the generics play a big role. What is interesting in my case is three years ago I had an acute kidney infection. my doctor then did not do an MRI then and perhaps why I am having a biopsy now is because of the kidney infection I had then. Well, now I will know and it will be taken care of.....

Hello Janine, Mark, JL, over the years I have endured and have jumped over the hurdles which where thrown to me....and I plan now to jump over this hurdle and keep moving forward. Thank God for Good Doctors...I am currently under the VA Healthcare system and they don't cover much....Neither do they help much. Anyways...I'm glad you have good Docs and they have things under control....I'll be praying for you also!!

Aw! sorry to hear that Michael, but miracles have happened on here...just lately with david moore's son, so lets get fired up again...I am prone to kidney stones...well grit...but still as painful as hell must be....and i've had gall bladder removed due to stones. IMO its due to chemical imbalances, as a dr let it slip once that thyroid med can upset the absorption of clacium!!! i put two and two together...maybe it makes five...but made sense to me. So maybe its just a chemical imbalance that can be remedied with med. hope so. keep on being positive...drink lots of water...which prevents sediment lying in the kidneys...especially if you already take medications. one friend told me to jump up and down after drinking water...at the time..in severe pain..i did this..now I just have a trampoline as part of my exercise routine...keeps all sediment from settling ANYWHERE :)) sending good thoughts!

Take care Michael - I am often very thankful to my primary care doctor (French) how noticed I had a problem several years ago - been a pain in the tookus since - but the early catching perhaps saved me more misery and perhaps an early death.

I pray that The Lord Jesus Christ will touch You and bring healing if healing is required and salvation for your soul.

I'll say a prayer for you. Hope the test finds nothing bad. I had and ultra sound on my gall bladder many years ago and was told there was a growth in my kidney. Had a CT and they discovered that one of my kidneys was malformed into an hour glass shape and the "growth" was a loop of intestine showing in front of the kidney.

Sending prayers your way Michael. God's blessings go with you. I went through surgery in 2008 to save my life. 2012-2013 Cancer,chemo, hospital, ICU, UTI, mini strokes, double pneumonia and almost three months of rehab. Have been home 3 months and still recovering.

On my prayer list, for sure. Don't ever give up on St. Jude!!!! He looks out for everyone who prays to him.....even those who don't really believe! Like God....it is OK if you don't believe in Him....He believes in you!

Hello Everyone, I had the first procedure today, it was great news to hear and actually see on the monitor, there are no visible problems with my gall bladder, but surgery is schedule for second week of June for my kidney for the biopsy or the actual removable of the attached growth, my doctor wants to make certain it is not cancer. Thank you everyone for all your good wishes, prayers and kind comments.


Thank you Karin, Jackie, Sydne for the good wishes.....a long time friend was with me at the hospital and I brought my lap top along, he had never seen my work on FAA and he was amazed of the work I was doing. Thank you Jackie for the generous comments on my gallery and I am happy my photos appeal to you....


I work at a university here in the city and my doctor wanted the surgery for next week, well I only have two or three more weeks left for work this semester and I am out for the summer, so my surgery is for second week of June. Thanks again for all the encouragement I appreciate it very much and it did settle my nerves seeing responses from such great individuals here at FAA....Cheers, Michael

Hello Roxy, yes as a matter of fact good news, there were no tumors or mass found in my gall bladder....in June, they will remove and check to make sure the tumor is not cancer and I am sure they will remove it.....

So good to hear, although I don't know you in person, I have the feeling you are on the sunny site of the street. I was worried about you.

Good Morning everyone, I am sore from the procedure yesterday and I was capable to work today, I was on my way in and did not one of my supervisor called and informed me, I did not have to work today, I go back Monday. I want to thank everyone for all the encouragement, and I want to thank FAA for allowing this discussion thread, having all of you is the best medicine and appreciate all the well wishes. The power of suggestion from complete strangers the impact has on each and every one of us......Cheers, Michael

Michael I do not believe there is any such thing, really, as a "complete stranger." We may not have met face to face, and there are still plenty of folks neither one of us has ever heard of, but - and I hope this does not get me kicked off the discussion pages because I am not a religious person - but I believe that we are all a part of each other and we all have a vested interest in each other's well being. Thoughts are energy and, when concentrated in masse toward someone in need, can have a powerfully positive effect. You are loved. That is not religion, it is fact.

Greetings Ginny, wow thank you so much for the generous words of encouragement, and your statement is so very true and scientifically proven, positive energy is present through the masses either through physical or expression. It does create and produce a positive outcome towards the individual or group in general. As I have mentioned in a comment above I can not alter my past but I have altered my future and you accept it for what it is, a part of life and move forward and continue to contribute in what ever way anyone does when afflicted or a victim of a deceased parent, child, friend or complete stranger.

There are no rules or regulation to exist here on earth or you must be a follower of any religion. I have always called it I co-exist with other humans regardless of who they are or where they are from and their beliefs. We are time, everything which exist around us is a number, a second, a minute, an hour, a life-time, its all about time. I remember when I turned 50 my good neighbor friend Susan and her husband told me Michael once you hit 50 its all down hill, and that was 12 years ago and hey look at me I am still here imagine that...

Our fate is our own destiny, and regardless if inflicted with a terminal illness or loss of a loved one or a complete stranger, its the positive energy which is shared together....Cheers, Michael Hoard
