Newsletter Settings?

Hi,

On my main account skip-hunt.pixels.com I unsubscribed to all emails about a year ago I think. Was getting too many promo emails and it got too tedious especially when I was traveling.

Some time ago, I set up an additional little auxiliary free account for my iPad-created filter stuff with photography as source pixels.com/profiles/poppinfresh-media.html I did this mostly because I wanted a place to experiment with stuff that I didn't want to mix in with my regular photography stuff. I also set it up to see if I sold anything at all via a free account vs my paid premium account.

With the pixels.com/profiles/poppinfresh-media.html account, I ONLY get 1 tidy "Weekly Update" newsletter a week. No other promotions, or news updates at all. It's digested into my images most visited, and if you scroll down it shows Art News, New Members, etc.

How do I set up my main account pixels.com/profiles/poppinfresh-media.html to also get this same, one and only, to the point, tidy, weekly newsletter and NOT all of the other promotional email blasts?

I don't see any specific settings for which kinds of emails you'd like to opt-in for. Only the main newsletter sign up at the bottom right of the footer. I'd re-sign up for this one, but I'm concerned it'd start getting all of the extra promo emails again. Is there a separate a la carte opt-in section for emails that I can specify that I ONLY want the one "Weekly Update" condensed newsletter?

Thanks

Hmmm... this seems like it'd be an easy question to get an answer to. Didn't think it was tech support ticket worthy, but I guess I'll try that too. :|

ATTN: Tech Support/Admin

Hello,

Never got a reply to this from Tech Support or admin. Also sent a Tech Support ticket and haven't seen a reply yet.

I'll rephrase the question to be a bit more concise and to the point:

There's a newsletter link at the bottom right, in the footer under "Stay Connected". Is this the ONLY place to opt-in for just the newsletter, with no other promotional emails? Or, is there somewhere in my paid Premium User "Behind the Scenes" settings where I can more specifically sign up for ONLY the "Weekly Update" newsletter email?

Thanks in advance for your attention

I'd imagine those promotional emails have an unsubscribe link on them, in fact I believe that's required by law.

@David, I'm well aware of "unsubscribe" buttons. I DID unsubscribe and it killed ALL of the emails. With my free account that I cited above, I only get one "Weekly Update" newsletter email that shows my most visited images. I would like to get the same for my paid account too, but I don't want to get all of the emails about new products, or artists FAA/Pixels are promoting, etc. Just the simple, reader's digest version of the "Weekly Update" like I get for me poppinfreshmedia free account.

I don't know how to rephrase this question any more simply. :(

This isn't a critique, this isn't trying to stir up anything, as a matter of fact, I've all but completely stopped interacting on Fine Art America OR Pixels forums at all. I rarely even upload new images to my accounts anymore. I've kept and paid for my main Premium account because I do still sell stuff every now and then. I just want an answer to this very simple question regarding getting the "Weekly Update" newsletter, but opting out of all the extra promo emails. Is that too much to ask?

Updates in your Behind the Scenes
Click to yes and sunday (best day)

Then unsubscribe if you get the others which is at the bottom of the email

@Abbie I was getting it before, then unsubscribed... but it killed the "Weekly Update" newsletter too. Are you saying that if I ONLY unsubscribe from the promotional emails from the promotional emails ONLY, that the "Weekly Update" newsletter opt-in will remain intact?

Should do, yes... You should still get the little update.

@Abbie.. ps. does it make any difference at all whether I'm logged in via Pixels vs FAA when I change the setting?
