Why is it crazy?

Currently humanity could have a machine in every doctor's office to test each bacteria or virus generically. We need to develop antibiotics and antiviral drugs that are specific to the bug. Using CRISPR technology is an inexpensive key to this. The problem with current antibacterial drugs, they are broad based as opposed to targeted.

Other diseases humanity will be able to relieve with gene editing as well.

Do you tell people to suffer instead?

This technology will be put to good use.

Adam ant? Personally there are areas I am in favor of,I.E., finding cures and treatments for ailments.There are other areas I am not in favor of, such as cloning humans. Love live diversity!

If it will make money - it will be done - nothing else matters - or haven't you figured that out yet. Money will drive it - if there is enough money - it will happen - if not or if only the very rich will be able to use it - it will only be in the high falutin doctors offices and clinics - perhaps a few major hospitals - but, a huge but - someone is going to pay for it.
