How To Hide A Gallery?

Hi,
I am rearranging my web page and would like to hide many of my galleries. I don't mean password protect it. I want it to be available to me and not seen on my webpage. Is it possible or I have to delete it? I password protected the galleries that I didn't want to show but they still show up on my site as password protected.

You can only password protect them. Visitors will see the gallery icon but will not be able view the images. There is no way to make them completely invisible without deleting the gallery.

Why would you want to do that? What are you trying to achieve?

I don't know exactly what your reasons are but you can delete a gallery and your images will still be there in the images pages. Deleting a gallery doesn't mean you are deleting those images within a gallery.
