I have to say, I DO like my nightly cocktails... and they serve me well! Vodka on the rocks with a splash... AND I enjoy an early evening dip in the pool with my drink nearby.

the first time I had that drink * 5 shots of clear liquor) I was amazed how they all cancel each other out! It's the only hard liquor I can drink..and the last glass was about 33 years ago! lol

It's not just the five shots, it's that there is almost no room for anything else in the glass. It just gets a splash of sour mix and an even smaller one of Coke for color. LI Iced Teas *will* hurt you. Quickly. I'd just as soon have an ice cold Kamikaze on the rocks if Ima gonna drink straight alcohol. Less work, LOL!

Susan, my first experience with one was at a business dinner....needless to say, I have no memory of what transpired that evening but I did come home with my husband.
I cannot hold my liquor...and am very sober about that!

Thanks Marlene, but if Sunday is the start of the week then we are not off to a great start. I have been battling horrible back pain for some time and have been out of work since October. I am seeing my doctor on Tuesday and surgery, which I have been trying to avoid, may be the only option. But it is what it is, I will keep my chin up
