On my walk I came across this Mexican Bird of Paradise Tree (sometimes mistaken for the Red Mexican Bird of Paradise small tree or shrub, which also has a yellow flowers variety).

It looks as though it has all these red threads coming off the bright yellow flowers (are noted for these long red stamens). What a fun flower!! Reminding me that sometimes, we can be "Hanging By A Thread."
