Trending Art For Home Decor And Interior Design Facebook Group

Marketing specialists (Hootsuite source) consider Facebook group as the most powerful tool for 2018, where the people can meet each other from around the world and discuss their ideas and projects.

" Build advocate communities with Facebook Groups. Facebook is investing heavily in Groups as they look to increase user engagement (and future ad space) beyond the News Feed. This is a significant opportunity to both gain a new source of organic customer engagement on Facebook, study customers in their natural habitat, and build real advocacy. We think Facebook Groups are a significant opportunity in 2018."

Recently I created the Facebook group Trending Art for Home Decor and Interior Design and I would love you to join for participation:

I so hope it will not be only the group where you will be showcase your artworks but also show your art look in interiors with links back and for now with FAA feature we all have such opportunity. I would like to create the powerful place where can meet the artists and professional interior designers looking for art works original or prints for their projects.

My intention to get together professionals in both industries who actually needs each other, kind of Houzz space but on the mighty Facebook platform.
Hope you will support me on this project and add your thoughts, ideas and showcase your works of course! Best in situ - look in interior,

Also I would love to see the last trends ideas in home decor and interior design, including interesting articles, videos, images etc. To keep it active and attractive for professionals. When group will be filled enough with artworks Im going to make an invitation thread for designers in Houzz.
Meanwhile I will be organizing the weekly theme threads to keep our offers neat.

So here is a group https://www.facebook.com/groups/370146176729890/

Where do we get backdrops like this to show case our art? I think it would appeal better to designers than FAA's version. Much classier and on point with what homes are being designed like.

Jani there was a thread a little while ago that had examples of art in room settings and apps you could use to produce them. I don't have time now to play with the search to find it, someone might remember it and post the link?

Jenny Rainbow

Jani, I agree with you, this presentation looks absolutely neat and classy but I dont have any idea where Robert got it! Some of us I know buying the images with interior on stock sites, to be a bit different from each other.
Because the free versions are very limited by the quantity of rooms for showcase.

Jani Freimann

I found some free versions at mockups that are pretty good, but most of those are groupings. Wallapp has them too, but not as good.

It probably is good to buy a few too.

Thank you Jenny, I'm always wondering how to connect with potential buyers on FB. Do you have many interior designer, buyer types in the FB group?

All the best Rebecca Harman

Jenny Rainbow

Hi Rebecca! And thank you for asking. Although I would not give you a clear answer as sometimes its really complicated for understanding and for explanation))
To confirm one more time - yes we have the interior designers in our group but they seem being in the group active invisibly))
Actually Im considering FB groups as a platform for worldwide exposure and potential showcase for thousands, even millions of viewers - the people who can reach your art there dont need to be in the group. Thats why from the very beginning our group was and will be always an OPEN group.
Anyone who interested in this theme can find us in FB search. FB very much concerns and concentrated to feature the groups, as I already mentioned in the beginning of this discussion. Groups are on priority thats why our group always suggested for those who make research on FB.

But our designers, group members are tending to be in the shadow. From one point I can get their point to not be active (or being active invisibly) probably they afraid to appear and being attacked by bulk of artists ))) Just kidding but there is some truth in this point ))

But dont forget the members of the group (including interior designers and fellow artists of course) getting in their feed the info about new posts. Especially if the posts are much commented. Like for example our theme threads - thats why we keeping it all alive!
We demand from all our mebers to give all possible contacts - data base of artists FB busness pages, their websites or other platforms where possible to buy. their art or promoted artworks.

So all the possibilities to be discovered!! Just we, artists have to use this group wisely! And all FOR FREE! We dont have to pay to be on top on FB search! Just be active!! Artists have to take their responsibility on their own promotions! Be active, commenting on each other posts its not only to make a favor for fellow artists but to keep the post up in the group and members feed. - AGAIN TO INCREASE CHANCES to be discovered!
By the way a couple of month ago - one member who is working in Art consulting agency made a call for artists in the group. How many artists you think commented on that post and participated? Dorthy and me! THATS ALL! Who will be doing your work for you???

The admins - Dorothy, Jessica and me are doing our best to keep the group appear as neat professional society and giving to both sides to the artists and to the interior designers to find each other.

P.S, I dont know if its related or not but 2 of my works which I promoted in group have been sold. If it would happen just once you could consider it as coincidence, but if it happened twice, as for me, Im tending to believe it works!
P..P,S You always have the chance to go and check members of the group - and find designers and contact them personally - its all up to artist and their business strategy.

Jenny thanks that's an amazing reply. Very helpful.

I will join the group but do know that sometimes the posts don't reach the members post feeds - hence they might not see the posts to respond.

I guess members should try to check the Group on a regular basis and, as you say, interact.

All the best Rebecca

Hi everyone, as you know I am an administrator of this group on Facebook and every day I am in awe of the beautiful artwork that gets posted.

There are a few things I wanted to mention to you all.

There is a new themed thread, art for a kid's room, you can find it here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/370146176729890/permalink/511275565950283/

A reminder that the group does not allow sales announcements or discount/limited time promotion posts.

Finally a quick word about messages on Facebook. Evgeniya and I have both messaged group members for one reason or another (having to remove a post, noticed a link not working etc) and in the majority of cases we get no reply or acknowledgement that the receiver has even read the message. Someone even told me (when I was in discussion elsewhere) that they never look at their Facebook messages. The messaging system on Facebook is one way a client might contact you so if you ignore that communication route you could be losing sales.

I was contacted recently, via Facebook messages, by someone who had seen my work in the group and had a query - it may or may not lead to a sale but it tells me two things. People are looking at the group posts and we need to keep an eye on our Facebook message inbox!

Keep those lovely images coming and thank you for supporting the group.

Hello everybody!
We always happy to see new members in our group, very welcome to anybody who would like to join and contribute!
But also we would love to request from new members - please dont add your friends to the group yourself! You definitely can suggest them to join this group, but not add them by yourself!
Unfortunately by FB settings we cant stop such adding, but we suppose that new members before approval answered the entry questions, read the rules and follow them to keep group on professional level, neat and easy. When any member is adding somebody, that added one will be on pending mode waiting for our approval anyway, but he/she cant see and answer the entry questions.
So please, please dont do that! May it be their own decision!

Some great art on show in our group!

Please remember that we don't allow LTPs or sales promotions (discount codes) or sales announcements in this group? I know this is going to get increasingly tempting with the big festive sales season arriving fast. Up until now I have either sent a message or written on the post itself and asked for amendment but this is getting time consuming. In future posts will just be deleted I'm afraid.

Also, just a tip, remember to use the URL for the image when you post, not the embed code from here. The embed code shows and makes your post look messy to any potential buyer.

Thank you for the info, David! I shared it in our group. Actually we welcome such kind of info to share directly in this group.
So dont hesitated next time to put the interesting info related to interior-art-home decor- colors in the group!

Jenny,

Thank you for the invitation, but I do not use any trends. I just saw the article and thought your group here as well as FB could use it.

I do like reading this sort of article, but it does not go into my art.

Have a good day,

Dave

Hi everyone, as an admin for the group I just wanted to say that with all the excitement of the special offers some of you may forget the group rules and be tempted to post all your discounts and sales opportunities. Therefore I just wanted to give you a gentle reminder that we do not allow LTP or discount posts in the group and Evgeniya (Jenny Rainbow) and I will delete them if we come across them. Having said all that good luck with your sales!

Just a heads up everyone, we are trialing a new system for posts in the group where each post has to be approved by an admin before it appears in the group. You submit your posts as usual but we have to approve them before they appear in the group.

Hello to all!
Recently we got an idea to expand the presence of this FB group Trending Art and get into Instagram where we will be featuring the best works which will be relative to the art trends (as per our group name). Of course it will be with powerful hashtags to attract the interested art consultants and interior designers from over the world.
The only one point me and Dorothy technically dont know how to connect the group or create as a second business page for the personal account.
If somebody has an experience could you please advise us? Any suggestions and advises will help tremendously!
We want our group be a powerful platform for both parts artists and interior designers!

I joined this wonderful group a few weeks ago, it's been fun and a good place to showcase my artwork in a interior design setting. I recently set up my own personal webpage and spend a lot of time creating images of my artwork in home d├ęcor settings. It's been fun to be able to share those images in a facebook group.

I've had a few learning curves regarding the rules but I think I have it down now.

Highly recommend this facebook group!

Jenny, I am on Instagram but not familiar with setting up a business account on it. As far as I know you would just create an account for Trending and then in settings link it to the facebook group. I don't think you can have both your personal account and the business account under the same profile.

Julie, what I found with some fresh news about Instagram that "It's good to note that two is not the limit of Instagram accounts you can create or manage simultaneously. Instagram allows you to manage up to five accounts. But you'll need separate emails for each one"
The question how to set it ...For me the point is that Im managing Instagram from laptop not from device. Need some technical details how to do it properly, I can not us app

Julie I am so glad you would recommend the group, thank you for that endorsement.

Dorothy :) of course! It's a fun place!

Jenny, I know your very limited in what you can do with Instagram on a laptop/computer. Good luck, I'm no expert in the Instagram arena, I haven't spent enough time in the guts of of it to try and figure it all out. Hopefully someone will come along that knows all about it.

Greetings to all!
I have some group announce here:
From January we will start to feature your art (should be shown in interior!) as a Group's Cover Image! We will be releasing one week before upcoming month a special theme thread "Art of the Month" where you will be adding images during the week and we ask to be active with your likes of the favorite images. Image with the most numbers of likes in the end of week will be featured as group cover. Image will be providing the name of the artist and link to the work and website (or FB page by your choice). Hope you love this idea?

Have a great weekend everyone!
