An Old Image Transformed

This is a very old "point and shoot" photo of my departed husband that I took in Rome Italy about 20 years ago.. I transformed it here! I photographed my own quick shot photo... using my 50mm prime lens.. (I cloned him out. sorry honey!!!) added texture, more color, my own dog, bike and transformed this! See below what you can do to revive an old image and make it new again!

Diana! You not only cloned him out but you replaced him with a dog!!

I am sure he will forgive you for that. lol

You did a great job on that, a really great job. But you usually do!

very nice Diana
I try not to revive or rework any of my old photos or art pieces but if I feel they could do with a bit of make over then I look at a particular piece say for example one called Going Home which I have in my gallery on FAA/Pixels.From there I will look at how my processing/editing skills were like say in 2007 and say to myself what could I do to make a particular image better.

Floyd! OMG... My dear departed Husband... HOPEFULLY will forgive me! He DOES love animals, however!!! Very sad though, cause he passed away at 51 suddenly... that was 10 years ago.. He looks older here than his age, cause he turned gray in College! I think he will forgive me!

Thank you, Marlene! I LOVE being able to turn reality into the creative! That has ALWAYS been my desire!

I'm old school with composition when it comes to fore, middle and backgrounds....the bicycle is such an interesting foreground spot to rest before looking farther down the lovely street!

Coming from you, Marlene, that is a huge compliment! Thank you!
